Description
Your folders are displayed in the All Signatures tab. Signatures stored in folders are not visible until you open the containing folder.
The All Signatures tab shows your folders as well as any signatures not stored in folders.
How to access it
To open an existing folder:
- From the menu sidebar, select Signatures.
- Locate your folder and select Open.
Select Open to open a folder.
Working within the folder
Within your folder, you can view and manage your signatures in the same way as the All Signatures tab.

The following table outlines the options available when working within a folder:

Select the pencil icon to edit the folder name and add or edit a folder description. |
Folder tabs |
Each folder tab contains different rules to control how the signatures in this folder are applied. For more information on using rules, see the Manage Signature Rules section of this knowledge base.
NOTE: Rules applied from the Folder tabs are applied to all signatures stored within this folder. Signatures removed from a folder are no longer affected by folder rules.
WARNING: Folder rules are evaluated and applied before individual signature rules. Setting individual signature rules that conflict with folder rules may cause errors in deployment. To check that your folder and signature rules are properly configured, use the Signatures Tester.
The Signatures tab: View and edit the signatures in this folder. The Senders tab: Apply the signatures in this folder to specific senders, such as via specific domains or user attributes. The Exceptions tab: Exclude specific senders from applying the signatures in this folder. The Security tab: Restrict access to this folder to certain users. This can only be done by Admins. For more information, see User Management. The Re-order tab: Change the order of the signatures in this folder. This affects the order in which they are evaluated. |
Signatures |
The signature card displays the individual details of the signature. This includes any configuration applied for senders, recipients, and date/time.
Select Move to move the signature out of the folder. Select Export to export the signature. Select Duplicate to create a copy of the signature in this folder. Select Delete to delete the signature.
Select Edit Design to open the signature in the Signature Designer. Select Manage to manage the rules for the signature, such as targeting specific senders and recipients. WARNING: Folder rules are evaluated and applied before individual signature rules. Setting individual signature rules that conflict with folder rules may cause errors in deployment. To check that your folder and signature rules are properly configured, use the Signatures Tester. |
Create and import |
Select Create Signature to create a new signature within the folder.

Save and Cancel |
Select SAVE CHANGES to save your changes to this folder.
Select CANCEL CHANGES to revert any changes made. |
