Scenario
You currently use Exclaimer Microsoft 365 and would like to migrate to Exclaimer Google Workspace.
Resolution
Unfortunately, there is no migration path for Exclaimer from Microsoft 365 to Google Workspace, so you will be required to create a new Exclaimer subscription for your Google Workspace tenancy.
To create a new Exclaimer subscription for your Google Workspace tenancy:
- If the Microsoft 365 tenancy is still in use, remove any existing connectors and mail flow rules.

- Note down any signature settings you want to try to replicate from the original subscription, such as which senders apply to which signatures, any other recipient rules, date and time policies and so on.
- Export any required signature templates.
Please look at how you can export a signature template to your desktop.
- Contact Exclaimer Sales, who will block your original Microsoft 365 subscription.
CAUTION! Once the original subscription has been blocked, you will no longer be able to log into this account. Please ensure you note all the required settings before your subscription gets blocked. - Once the original subscription is blocked, create a new Exclaimer - Google Workspace subscription and configure the operational service.
CAUTION! Once the subscription has been disabled, the signature files will no longer be available from the portal.
The Google Workspace configuration option is not available in the new UI yet. - Import the signature templates.
See how you can import a signature template into Exclaimer.
- Update the signature fields in the templates to use the fields available from Google Workspace, ensuring that you update the visibility settings for the fields so that they are based on the new fields and not the {Address.Company.CountryCode} field as shown below:
- Re-configure the signature rules as required.
