How to set linked images using custom fields – Exclaimer Cloud Knowledge Base

Scenario

You are using Exclaimer Cloud and you would like to use linked images within the signature. But, the linked image is different for each user.

You can use custom attributes to dynamically pull each linked image, for each user.

Pre-requisites

Before you create a signature with linked images, please ensure:

The images are available on the hosted server, Google Drive or Dropbox.

To create a signature that uses fields to pull through linked images:

Create custom fields and insert the URL for each image within Microsoft 365 or your local Active directory. For more information on how you can do this, see How to add custom fields to your signature.
Now, in Exclaimer Cloud open the signature you would like to add the linked images.

When the required signature is opened in the Signature Designer, insert the Image/Logo element to your signature (at the desired location).
Within the Linked Image URL option, add the custom attribute field. Type { then select the required field from the list displayed.
Example:
At the moment, the image will not be displayed. You can view the image within the Preview pane.
If the image is not visible within the Preview pane, please perform a manual data synchronization for immediate results or you can wait for 24 hours for the changes to be visible.
