Description
The Microsoft Bookings element allows you to add a button or link to your signature template for your Microsoft bookings, allowing recipients of your signature to access your availability via your personal booking link.
Pre-requisites: You must have one of the following Microsoft 365 plans:
- Office 365: A3, A5, E1, E3, E5, F1, F3, Office 365 operated by 21Vianet.
- Microsoft 365: A3, A5, E3, E5, F1, F3, Business Standard, Business Premium.
Configure your bookings in the Microsoft Bookings app before adding this element to your Exclaimer Signature. For more information on the Microsoft Bookings app, see Microsoft's resources on Bookings.
How to access it
To access the Microsoft Bookings signature element:
- Open your signature in the Signature Designer.
For more information, see how to select a signature to edit.
- From the Toolbox, expand the Calendars section and select Microsoft Bookings.
The Microsoft Bookings element is found in the Calendars section of the Toolbox.

To add a Microsoft Bookings element to the signature:
- Drag and drop the Microsoft Bookings element onto the canvas.
Drag the element to where you would like it to be on the canvas.
This opens the Microsoft Bookings window.

- Under Booking page URL, enter the URL of your Microsoft Bookings page.

The Microsoft Bookings page. You can copy your URL, change the link availability, or other configuration options. Note that this is a Microsoft page and is not controlled by Exclaimer.
- Under Booking link text, enter or edit the text to display on your booking link.
- [Optional] To test the entered URL, select Preview Link in new Tab. This opens the URL in a new browser tab.
- Under Booking link style, select a radio button to choose the display style for your booking link.
EITHER:
Select Link to display as a text hyperlink.

Select Light to display as a button with a colored border.

OR
Select Dark to display a button with a solid color.

- Select OK to add your booking link to the signature template.
To edit your Microsoft booking page URL:
- Select the element on the canvas.
- In the Properties pane, expand the Calendar Sharing Button section.
- Select Edit Booking page URL. This opens the Booking page URL window.
To change your Booking link, select Edit Booking page URL.
- Edit or enter the URL in the entry field.
- Select OK to commit your changes and close the window.
- Select Save Changes to save your signature template.
To remove a Microsoft Bookings element from the signature:
- Select the element on the canvas.
- Select Delete from the Properties pane.
Select the element, then select Delete.

Calendar Sharing Button properties
Calendar Sharing Button properties are used to adjust the appearance of your booking link and edit your URL.
Font Family |
Select a font from the dropdown menu. The Branding Fonts section of the dropdown contains font choices set on the Branding screen. If you change the fonts set as Brand Font 1 or Brand Font 2 on the Branding screen, your elements set to Branding fonts will automatically update to the new font choice. |
Font Size |
Select or enter a font size in pixels (px) or points (pt). For more information, see How to use pixel and point values in font sizing and Pixel to Point conversions.

Booking page URL | Select Edit Booking page URL to enter or edit the URL connected to your element. |
Text color |
Enter or select the color of the text. Brand Color 1 and Brand Color 2 appear in the color picker and contain color choices set on the Branding screen. If you change these colors on the Branding screen, your elements set to Branding Colors will automatically update to the new color choice. |
Background properties
Background properties are used to define the background of the item.

None | Select None to remove any background from the text field. |

Color |
Select Color to select a background colour for the text field. You can either enter a color code or select the required color using the color picker. Brand Color 1 and Brand Color 2 appear in the color picker and contain color choices set on the Branding screen. If you change these colors on the Branding screen, your elements set to Branding Colors will automatically update to the new color choice. |
Image | Select Image to set an image as the background of the text field. |
Upload Image | Select to upload a background image for the text field. NOTE: When you set a background image, the signature will be rendered as a bitmap image instead of HTML. |
Visibility properties
Visibility properties are used to adjust when the item appears.
Always visible | Select to ensure the item is always visible in the signature. |

Auto-hiding separator | Select to only make the item visible when there are other visible, non-separator items before and after it in the same group. |
Visible when | Select to set conditions under which an item becomes visible. |
Alignment properties
Alignment properties are used to determine the horizontal and vertical alignment of the item.
Horizontal | Select Left, Center, or Right to set the horizontal alignment. |

Vertical | Select Top, Center, or Bottom to set the vertical alignment. |
Border properties
Border properties are used to set borders on the item.
All |
Check All the same to enable the All border properties. Select line style, line width, and line color to apply to all sides of the item. Brand Color 1 and Brand Color 2 appear in the color picker and contain color choices set on the Branding screen. If you change these colors on the Branding screen, your elements set to Branding Colors will automatically update to the new color choice. |

Left / Right / Top /Bottom | Uncheck All the same to enable individual border properties for Left, Right, Top, and Bottom. Select line style, line width, and line colour to apply to each side of the item. |
Padding properties
Padding properties are used to define spacing for the item.
All | Check All the same to enable the All padding properties. Enter either a pixel (px) or point (pt) value to apply padding to all sides of the item. |

Size properties
Size properties are used to define the size of the selected field.
Width | Enter a pixel (px) or point (pt) value to set the width of the item. Set to auto to allow the item to automatically adjust based on viewer size. |
