How long does it take for updates to appear in Outlook

Scenario

You have configured Exclaimer and updated your signature design. How long will it take for the changes to reflect within your Outlook signatures?

Resolution

The changes are reflected based on how you have configured your Exclaimer subscription.

For Client-Side signatures:

• If you have installed the Exclaimer Outlook Add-in, changes usually appear in your email signature within 10 - 15 minutes, but it can take up to 45 - 60 mins.
  
  NOTE: You cannot force the Exclaimer Outlook Add-in update.

• If you have installed the Exclaimer Signature Update Agent, then the signatures are synchronized once every hour. 

  We recommend! If you want changes to a signature to be synchronized sooner, then:
  
  For Windows: You can force synchronization by restarting the agent on the user's machine.
  To do this: Open Task Manager and close the Exclaimer Cloud Signature Update Agent, then restart it again.
  
  

For Server-Side signatures:

• Any changes made to the signature design are reflected immediately in Outlook.
