Scenario
You want to set a signature to only apply during a specific time period or between specific dates, such as using a festive signature over a holiday period.
Resolution
You can use signature rules to apply individual signatures during a date and/or time range.
Tip! Users on Standard and Pro plans can use Campaigns to apply limited-time content to their emails. Users on Pro plans can use the Advanced Date range rules to apply more complex date and time conditions.
To use Date/Time rules to set a Date/Time range for a signature:
- From the All Signatures tab, locate your signature and select Manage.
This opens the Manage screen.
- Select the Date/Time tab.
The Date/Time tab.
- Select the Apply date and time range checkbox to enable the Start and End Date/Time fields.
The date and time section.
- Enter date and time values in the Start Date/Time and End Date/Time entry fields, or select the calendar icon
to open the calendar and time selector and select Set once picked.
You can set your date and time using the calendar picker and time entry.
- Select Save in the unsaved changes banner to save your Date/Time rules. Your signature will now only be applied between the specified Start and End dates and times.
Tip! You can see whether Date/Time rules are applied on the signature card. If a Date/Time rule is applied to the signature, then Date/Time Range Applies is displayed. If no Date/Time rule is applied, then Always Active is displayed.
