Many signature designs include images, logos and banners. The following requirements should be considered when adding images to your signatures:
File types
We recommend the use of PNG, JPG and JPEG images. You can also use GIFs.
NOTE: SVGs are not supported within Exclaimer. This is due to the limitations of a number of email clients and devices.
Image file size
The maximum file size allowed for uploaded images is 300KB.
Image dimensions
The maximum dimensions for an image are 2048 pixels by 2048 pixels. The minimum dimensions are 4 pixels by 4 pixels. For information on resizing images to fit pixel requirements, see our image resizing guide.
Image resolution
We recommend that any email signature images you use are 96 dots per inch (dpi). This is to ensure the best quality when displaying your images. To troubleshoot image quality, see How to resolve image quality issues.
