Why is my personal signature applied to emails sent from a group email address in Google Workspace?

Scenario

You have granted users permission to send email from a group's email address (see Send emails from a different address or alias). However, Exclaimer applies the sender's personal signature to the email instead of the group’s signature.

Reason

You have disabled the Send on Behalf option in the Mail Flow configuration. When you disable this option, Exclaimer uses the original sender's email address to apply the signature.

Resolution

To apply the signature based on the group email address, enable the Send on Behalf option:

1. From the header bar, select the cogwheel icon, then select Mail Flow.
    
2. Navigate to the Send on Behalf section.
    
3. Select the Use 'Send on Behalf' sender checkbox.
    
4. Select Save.
