Description

Within Exclaimer, you can view and, if required, edit your contact details for them to be displayed within your email signature. 

As a user, managing your contact details implies:

  • You can view your contact details as they appear in your email signature.

  • You can edit your contact details if you wish to make any changes.
    Please note that you can only edit the fields defined by your Administrator as editable. For more information, see Manage user editable contact details.

Accessing the User Details Editor for Microsoft 365 subscription
To access the User Details Editor:
  1. Launch the User Details Editor portal via your region URL link.
    NOTE: The region URL link implies the region where your subscription is hosted.

    The different URLs are:

  2. Sign in with Microsoft.
    A Microsoft window prompting you to grant access to Exclaimer to view your basic profile and maintain access to your data is displayed:

  3. Select the option Consent on behalf of your organization.

  4. Click Accept.

    The Manage your contact details screen is displayed.
Accessing the User Details Editor for Google Workspace subscription
To access the User Details Editor:
  1. Launch the User Details Editor portal via your region URL link.

    The different URLs are:

    United States            https://us.details.exclaimer.net/google
                               
  2. Sign in with Google.
    A window prompting you to grant access to Exclaimer to view the information and manage the provisioning of users is displayed:
  3. Click Allow to grant permissions.

    The Manage your contact details screen is displayed.

Once you have successfully signed in, you (as a user) can view all the contact detail fields Exclaimer currently uses to populate your email signature.

Editing your contact details

Once you have successfully signed in, you (as a user) can view and edit the contact detail fields Exclaimer currently uses to populate your email signature. Please note that you can only edit the fields defined by your Administrator as editable. For more information, see Manage user editable contact details.

The Manage your contact details screen is displayed with all fields populated.

  1. You can only edit the fields that are not greyed out.
    The maximum character limit for the fields is 255.

    In this example, Display Name, Mobile Number and Job Title fields are editable.


  2. To edit the details that appear in your personalized vCard via QR codes, check or uncheck the available fields.
    NOTE: Personalized vCards are only available in Pro Plan. For more information on pricing plans, see Exclaimer Pricing Plans.
     
  3. Click SAVE CHANGES to save any changes made; else, click CANCEL CHANGES.

  4. As a Global Administrator, you can define which fields users can edit. Click SETTINGS to go to the Settings screen.
NOTE: All data uploaded to the User Details Editor feature are stored in Exclaimer's own load-balanced data centers.
