Description
QR codes (Quick Response codes) are scannable codes that mobile devices and other QR code readers can scan to link to information pages. You can add QR codes to your signature so that a recipient can scan the code and view extra information.

To access the QR Codes signature element:
- Open your signature in the Signature Designer.
For more information, see how you can select a signature to edit.
- From the toolbox, expand QR Codes and select the QR Code element.
The QR code element is found in the QR Codes section of the toolbox.
To add a QR code element to your signature
- Drag the QR Code element onto the canvas.
Drag the element to where you would like it to be on the canvas.
- Choose your QR code type by selecting a radio button: URL or Personalized vCard.

Tip! The information that appears in a Personalized vCard can be specified using the Exclaimer User Details Editor.NOTE: Personalized vCards are only available in Pro Plan. For more information on pricing plans, see Exclaimer Pricing Plans. - Enter your URL if required, then select OK to add the QR code to your signature.
- To edit a QR code, select the code and expand the QR Code section in the Properties pane.
- Under QR code type, select a radio button to set your QR code as a URL or Personalized vCard. For URL QR codes, you can edit the URL in the entry field.

To delete a QR code from the signature
- Select the element on the canvas.
- Select Delete from the Properties pane.
The Delete button is found in the Properties pane. You may need to close Properties expandables to view it.
To adjust the properties of a QR code, expand the following sections in the Properties pane:
QR code properties
QR code properties are used to adjust the information that creates the QR code and the display colors.
QR Code Type | Select either URL or Personalized vCard to set your QR code type. URL QR codes require a valid URL in the URL entry box. |

Background color | Enter or select the background color of the QR code. |
Foreground color |
Enter or select the foreground color of the QR code. |
Visibility properties
Visibility properties are used to adjust when the item appears.
Always visible | Select to ensure the item is always visible in the signature. |

Auto-hiding separator | Select to only make the code visible when there are other visible, non-separator items before and after it in the same group. |
Visible when | Select to set conditions under which an item becomes visible. |
Alignment properties
Alignment properties are used to determine the horizontal and vertical alignment of the item.
Horizontal | Select Left, Center, or Right to set the horizontal alignment. |

Vertical | Select Top, Center, or Bottom to set the vertical alignment. |
Border properties
Border properties are used to set borders on the item.
All | Check All the same to enable the All border properties. Select line style, line width, and line color to apply to all sides of the item. |

Left / Right / Top /Bottom | Uncheck All the same to enable individual border properties for Left, Right, Top, and Bottom. Select line style, line width, and line color to apply to each side of the item. |
Padding properties
Padding properties are used to define spacing for the item.
All | Check All the same to enable the All padding properties. Enter either a pixel or point value to apply padding to all sides of the item. |

Left / Right / Top /Bottom | Uncheck All the same to enable individual padding values for Left, Right, Top, and Bottom. Enter either a pixel or point value to apply padding to each side of the item. |
Size properties
Size properties are used to define the size of the item.
Width | Enter a pixel value to adjust the size of the item. QR codes are automatically scaled. NOTE: URL QR codes have a minimum width of 96px and Personalized vCard QR codes have a minimum width of 150px. |
