Scenario
You have added a Feedback element to your signature, and have applied it to an email with Client-Side deployment. When you recieve a response from a recipient, the Email field displays 'Anon' instead of the recipient's email.
An example of a response where the recipient's email is shown as 'Anon'.
Reason
The mail client does not automatically evaluate recipients when adding signatures in Client-Side deployment. This means that after a recipient is added in the To field, the recipient address has not been connected to the feedback survey, and so which recipient has responded to the survey is not detected in the feedback response.
Resolution
To connect recipient information to surveys, enable the Use recipient features Client-Side setting found in the Mail Flow section of Settings. For more information on enabling this setting, see Apply Recipient Settings Client-Side.
The Apply Recipient Settings Client-Side area of the Mail Flow page contains the checkbox for this setting.
When this option is enabled, the Outlook Add-In will automatically update the Feedback configuration to include the email recipient when you compose the email, and the recipient address will be detected and shown in the response.
