Scenario
When you send an email, your signature is applied to the email and is correctly received by the recipient. However, when the recipient replies, you notice that the images in the signature are missing or they appear as attachments. Sometimes the images are replaced with something like '<image001.png>' in a very small font.
Example:
Reason
Typically, this issue is caused when the Mail app on a Mac or an iOS device (Apple iPhone or iPad) is being used to reply to an email. The mail client's default settings specify that embedded images are removed from the email and replaced with tags, such as <image001.png>.
The tag implies that the image has been removed from the email.
Resolution
Unfortunately, as this issue is caused by a setting on the mail client being used, this is not something Exclaimer Cloud can control.
However, there are options available to help you work around this - please click on the required options listed below to go through the detailed description:
Set the Mail app to Always include attachments with replies
For a Mac
Open Mail, navigate to the Edit menu, click Include Attachments With Replies, then select the Always option.

For iOS
Navigate to Settings, select Mail and scroll down to COMPOSING. Click Include Attachments With Replies, then select the Always option.
Why do the signature images not display or re-size when the mail client window size changes in Mac Mail?
Why do white boxes or white spaces appear when using background colours?
Why cannot I open my template in the new UI?
Why is the 'drag and drop editor' not working for me?
Why do my signatures get a dotted border on tables when no borders are set?
Why are extra line spaces appearing in my email signature?
