Scenario
You wish to migrate your Exclaimer Cloud subscription to a new Microsoft 365 tenant.
Resolution
To migrate to a new Microsoft 365 tenant, you need to - please click on the required options listed below to go through the detailed description:
Step 1: Remove the Exclaimer SMTP domain from your previous tenant
To remove the Exclaimer SMTP domain from your previous tenant:
NOTE:
- Please see how you can uninstall server-side signatures from your Microsoft 365 tenant before you remove the Exclaimer SMTP domain.
- If you are splitting from another company and the old tenant is to stay active, then please be aware that this can cause mail flow issues.

- Log into Microsoft 365 admin center using the Global Administrator credentials for the ORIGINAL tenant.
- From the left-side menu, click Settings then select Domains. A list of all your domains is displayed on the right-hand side.
- Remove the entry for your ORIGINAL domain.
To remove the original domain:
- From the Domains list, select the required domain (this will be in the form <unique tenant ID>.smtp.exclaimer.cloud).
For example:- Click Remove.
- Follow any additional prompts then click Close.
Step 2: Migrate the Cloud tenant

To complete the steps described below, you will need:

- Log into the Exclaimer Cloud portal and launch your subscription.
- From the left-hand pane, click Configuration, then select Manage User Data.

From the right-hand pane, under Enable Azure AD Access, click AUTHORIZE..
- You are prompted to sign in to Microsoft 365 as a Global Administrator (please make sure you provide details for your ORIGINAL Microsoft 365 tenant).

You are prompted to accept a permissions request for the Exclaimer Cloud to read your Azure AD data. Click Accept.
The Authorization Successful message is displayed.
Now, you need to synchronize the data.
- From the left-hand pane, click Configuration, then select Manage User Data.
- From the right-hand pane, under Start Synchronization are the relevant options.

Enter your NEW Microsoft 365 Domain name then click START SYNC to start synchronizing the data.
The synchronization process will continue in the background while you proceed with the setup.
When the synchronization process is successfully completed, a confirmation message is displayed.
- Now, you need to re-run the connector setup for the NEW tenant.
