Scenario
You are using Exclaimer Cloud, and you notice that there is double-line spacing within your email signature. You are not sure where it is coming from?
Reason
The typical issue that causes this is where the recipient replies from their email account. The mail client they are using adds its own line-height value to the email signature, causing it to display with double-line spaces.
Resolution
NOTE: The steps described here assume that you have already created an email signature. For more information, see how you can create a signature.
To resolve this issue:
- Select the outermost layer of the signature template and ensure that you set a Line Height value 2pts larger than the Font Size.
For example, if your Font Size is 11pts, then you will need to set the Line Height value to 13pts:
CAUTION! This method will not work when you use the client-side and the Outlook Update Agent - due to the code added by the mail client.
