This page highlights some hints and tips to keep in mind when designing signature templates.
How to highlight text to hyperlink a section
This is useful when you have lots of text (example: Disclaimer) and you want to hyperlink a section that says ‘click here to view our privacy policy’.
Example:
To do this:
- In the Signature Designer, highlight the text you want to link to (you can do this by the cursor or using the arrow keys while holding the [Shift] key).

- Within the Text properties, click ADD HYPERLINK.

- In the Destination URL, enter the relevant URL.
Example: - Click OK to save the changes made.
How to add colour to one section of text
To do this:
- In the Signature Designer, highlight the text you want to link to (you can do this by the cursor or using the arrow keys while holding the [Shift] key).
Example:
- Within the Text properties, add the required colour to the Foreground Color.

- Click OK to save the changes made.
The selected text within the signature template will now appear in a different colour.

How to create separators from scratch and use the auto-hide function
This is useful if you want to add new lines of text (example: Bio and vCard, linked to a Custom Attribute), but you also want a separator in the template that can hide if both or one of the fields is empty.

To do this:
- In the Signature Designer, select the Text element and type in the separator you wish to use – this can be a pipeline, comma, hyphen, bullet point or so on.

- Within the Text properties, in Visibility, select the Auto-hiding separator option.

How to change images
This is useful if you want to update your logo or banner to something new.
To do this:
- In the Signature Designer, select the required image you wish to change.
- From the right-hand side, Properties pane, within Image Source click UPLOAD IMAGE.
You can upload the image from the desktop or by copying the new image URL.

How to rename an email signature
To do this, you can either
- Go to the Signature Designer and click
at the top to edit the signature name.
OR

From the All Signatures tab, select the required signature then click MANAGE.
The selected signature window is displayed. - Click
at the top to edit the signature name.
