Scenario
You are using Exclaimer Cloud and have created your email signature. You now wish to add vCards to your Exclaimer Cloud signature template.
Resolution
To add vCard to the signature template:
NOTE: The steps described here assume that you have already created an email signature. For more information, see how you can create a signature.
- Upload your vCards to a web location.
We recommend: You use a file name, such as FirstName-LastName.vcf.
For example: Karen-Green.vcf
- These fields are case-sensitive.
- Ensure the image is exactly as the field(s) would display. - Now, in Exclaimer Cloud, open the required signature template within the Signature Designer.
- Create a location in the template for the vCard hyperlink to be added. This can be a text box or an image.
Example: -
Select the border (or select the text), then from the right-hand side, properties pane, click ADD HYPERLINK.
The HyperLink window is displayed.
- In the Destination URL, insert the full URL for the vCard.
For example http://www.CompanyName.com/vCards/Karen-Green.vcf - Change the first and last name in the hyperlink to the required fields:
Example: http://www.CompanyName.com/vCards/{FirstName}-{LastName}.vcf
To do this, place the cursor in front of the first name and type { . Select the required fields from the list displayed.
Example:
The Destination URL will look similar to this: - Click OK to save the changes.
