Scenario
You wish to disable the native signatures functionality in Outlook Web Access (OWA) to ensure that your users apply Exclaimer Cloud signatures via the Exclaimer Outlook Add-in or server-side signature rules.
Resolution
NOTE: The steps and screens described below are from the Classic Exchange Admin center.
- Log in to your Microsoft 365 portal (https://portal.office.com).
- Click the Admin button.
- On the left-hand pane, expand ADMIN and click Exchange.
- In the Exchange admin center, click permissions on the left-hand side. On the right-hand side, within Outlook Web App Policies, double-click the policy you wish to disable.
This will block the custom OWA signatures assigned to the users.
Example: - The Outlook Web App policies window is displayed. From the left-hand side, select features and click More options.
Example: - Scroll down and untick the Email signature option.
Example: - Click Save to save the changes made.
