Scenario
You have an existing signature template, but you are unsure of how to add information such as pronouns or any other personal detail to the template.
Resolution
To resolve this issue, you can follow any one of these three options:
Solution 1: Use a text box to enter pronouns for the required person, then use the visibility on the text box to display it based on the display name.
Solution 2: Using the original 15 Custom Attributes from Microsoft 365, populate the fields with the pronoun in each user mailbox then drag the field into the template.
This is the recommended option for Cloud based solutions - for more information, see How to add custom fields into your signature and How to use custom attributes in Exclaimer Cloud.
For information on creating and managing custom attributes in G Suite see Create custom attributes for user profiles and Which G Suite Directory attributes can be synced to Exclaimer Cloud?
Solution 3: Use Azure AD Connect to synchronize a dedicated attribute then drag it into the template.
For more information, see How to enable and configure Directory Extensions in Azure Active Directory Connect, How to enable and configure Directory Extensions in Azure Active Directory Connect, and Which fields are multi-value and cannot be synced to Exclaimer Cloud?
Solution 1 - Use a text box
- Drag a text box into your signature design template.
- Within Visibility properties, select the Visible when option and enter conditions, similar to this:
Solution 2 - Using Custom Attributes
- Select All {Fields}, the All {Fields} window is displayed. From the Field dropdown list, select an existing custom attribute. You can use any field from the local directory that isn't multi value, for example: {AAD.info}
