How to setup a Teams link within your signature

Scenario

You want to set up a Microsoft Teams link within your signature to allow recipients to call you.

Resolution

You can easily set up a Teams link within your signature by configuring a standard hyperlink with a unique address in your signature template.

To set up a Teams link:

(Please note that the screens displayed below are from the new UI)

1. Open the required signature template where you wish to insert the Teams link.
   
   
2. Within the selected template, drag and drop the Text element to create a section where the Teams link will be inserted.
   
   
3. Within the Text properties window, click Add Hyperlink.
   
   
   The HyperLink window is displayed.
   
   
4. In the Destination URL, enter the link to open Teams:
   
   
   https://teams.microsoft.com/l/chat/0/0?users={email}

   
   
   
   

5. Click OK to proceed.
   
   
6. Click Save.

This link will automatically update the email address of the user sending the email.
