Scenario
You want to set up a Microsoft Teams link within your signature to allow recipients to call you.
Resolution
You can easily set up a Teams link within your signature by configuring a standard hyperlink with a unique address in your signature template.
NOTE: The steps described here assume that you have already created an email signature. For more information, see how you can create an email signature.
To set up a Teams link:
- Open the required signature template where you wish to insert the Teams link.
- Within the selected template, drag and drop the Text element to create a section where the Teams link will be inserted.
- Within the Text properties window, click Add Hyperlink.
Example:
The HyperLink window is displayed. - In the Destination URL, enter the link to open Teams:
https://teams.microsoft.com/l/chat/0/0?users={email}
Example: - Click OK to proceed.
- Click Save.
This link will automatically update the email address of the user sending the email.
