Why does my logo disappear or appear very small in Outlook Mail App?

Scenario

You have a signature with a logo which displays well on mail clients, such as Outlook for Desktop, and some mobile mail apps. However, when the signature is viewed in Outlook for iOS or Outlook for Android and the mobile device is in portrait orientation, you notice that the logo disappears or appears very small.

Reason

This issue occurs as the Outlook Mail app for mobile devices automatically attempts to fit wider signatures within the device's screen parameters, and may cut off or shrink the logo image to do so. Resizing may occur if viewed in landscape orientation.

Resolution

Resolution 1:

1. To avoid image size changes, upload your logo at your desired final size - for example, if your image file is 1000px by 1000px but you want it to appear at 100px by 100px in your signature template, you must upload a 100px by 100px version of the image file. 2. Set the Width and Height values for your logo in the Properties pane to match your image size. For more information on image properties, see Working with the Image/Logo element.

   Outlook will no longer resize your image automatically.

Resolution 2:

1. In the Signature Designer, select the border that contains all the cells in your signature. If your signature was created using a table, choose the border that contains the whole table. For more information, see how to recognise different coloured borders in the Signature Designer.
   
   
2. In the Properties pane, expand the Size properties.
   
   
3. Set a fixed width for your signature by select px from the value dropdown under Width, then enter a value wide enough to accomodate your signature. We recommend 450px to 600px; view your signature in the Preview pane and adjust this value accordingly depending on your signature size.
