How to use animated GIFs in your signature template

Scenario

You have created a new signature template and would like to include an animated GIF in your signature template.

Resolution

Add an image to the signature template using the instructions below:

  1. Locate where in the signature template you want to add the image.

  2. Drag the image/logo tool into the desired location:

  3. Choose to upload the image for Embedded images or use a Linked Image URL if your image is web-hosted.

  4. Select OK.
Warning: Animated GIFs are not supported by all email clients and you may have issues with the GIF not animating as required.

The following Mail Clients currently do not support animated GIFs: 
Outlook 2013 & 2016

In regards to this, the animated GIF will simply display the first frame of the animation.
