What is happening?
Following an internal review of our on-premises product suite, we have made the decision to discontinue the following solutions: Exclaimer Auto Responder, Exclaimer Email Alias Manager for Exchange and Exclaimer Mail Archiver.
Why is Exclaimer discontinuing these products?
Exclaimer will focus all efforts on our core email signature management solutions, along with integrations that enhance these offerings, such as with Customer Thermometer. As the industry trend continues towards the adoption of cloud services, our primary focus will be on developing our Exclaimer Cloud offering. In the last few months, we’ve released new features and functionality for Exclaimer Cloud such as a brand-new User Interface (UI), our new Outlook Web Add-in and Signature Surveys. We’ve also launched Exclaimer Cloud Signatures for Exchange that enables on-premises Exchange customers to harness the cutting-edge Cloud UI (while retaining the use of Exchange). When are these products being discontinued?
As of 30 September 2022, Exclaimer Auto Responder, Exclaimer Template Editor (when used in conjunction with Exclaimer Auto Responder), Exclaimer Email Alias Manager for Exchange, and Exclaimer Mail Archiver will no longer be supported. Customers can continue to use the software past this date; however, Exclaimer will no longer maintain, support or update these products.
What happens if my Software Maintenance Agreement (SMA) needs to be renewed soon?
Until 30 September 2021, you can still renew your SMA for a one-year period. From 01 October 2021, SMAs will only be available for renewal up to 30 September 2022, at which point the products will no longer be supported. For instance, if your SMA expires on 31 December 2021, we will only be able to offer a nine-month SMA period.
What happens if my existing SMA runs past 30 September 2022?
If you have purchased an SMA that is due to expire after 30 September 2022, you will be entitled to a refund or credit for the remaining period of your SMA past this date. We will contact you nearer the time with further details on how to receive your refund/credit (as you choose).
What if I need to download the software again?
Software install files can still be accessed from our Exclaimer Discontinued & Legacy Products page.
Is Exclaimer discontinuing the Signature Manager on-premises solutions?
Exclaimer Signature Manager Outlook Edition and Exclaimer Signature Manager Exchange Edition will continue to be supported as normal.
Can you recommend a replacement for Exclaimer Mail Archiver?
Exclaimer has identified a great replacement offering from the archiving specialist Cryoserver - which we highly recommend. Cryoserver are email archiving specialists who have been operating for almost 20 years. They offer on-premises and cloud solutions, delivering them in 28-plus countries. Whichever solution you choose from Cryoserver you can trust that you’re in safe hands.
If you move before 31 March 2022, you’ll benefit from special pricing exclusive to Exclaimer Partners and customers. Exclaimer Mail Archiver customers who move to Cryoserver will have any remaining months on their SMA refunded.
