Description
You can add icons to your signature from the vast variety available in Exclaimer Cloud.
To include an icon onto your email signature, simply drag and drop the required icon element to the desired location on the signature/gridded background.
Once you have dropped the icon element onto your signature, you can customize it to suit your organization's requirements.
How to access it?
To access the Icons signature element:
- Open the signature (in the Signature Designer) to which you wish to add the Icons element.
For more information, see how you can select a signature to edit.
- From the left-hand side toolbox, expand Image & Icons and select the required Icon.

To add an Icon element to the signature:
- Drag and drop the required Icon element at the required location on your canvas.
Example:
To delete an icon:
- Select the required icon element to open the properties section on the right-hand pane.
- Click DELETE to delete the icon.

To define how the icon will look in your email signature:
When you add or edit an icon, the properties are displayed on the right-hand pane.
Label Icon properties
Label Icon properties are used to determine the appearance of the icon.
Background | Use the colour picker to change the background colour of the icons. |

Foreground | Use the colour picker to change the foreground colour of icons. |
Width | Enter or select the required width of the icon. You can select the width in pixels or points. |
Height | Enter or select the required height of the icon. You can select the height in pixels or points. |
Corner Radius | This option is not available for Label Icon properties. |
Hyperlink properties
Hyperlink properties are used to apply a hyperlink to the icon (so when a recipient clicks the icon, they are directed to the associated web page):
Destination URL | Enter the required target URL that will open when the icon is clicked. |

Alt Text | Enter 'alternate' text to be shown if, for some reason, this icon cannot be displayed. |
Visibility properties
Visibility properties are used to determine the circumstances under which the selected icon should/should not be displayed:
Always visible | By default, Always visible is selected. This means that the selected icon will always be visible in the signature. |

Auto-hiding separator | This option is not valid for images. |
Visible when | Select to define the conditions when the selected icon needs to be visible on the signature. |
Alignment properties
Alignment properties are used to determine the horizontal and vertical alignment of the selected icon:
Horizontal | Select one of the required options to horizontally align the icon within the signature. The different options are: Left, Center, Right, Justify or Stretch. |

Vertical | Select one of the required options to vertically align the icon within the signature. The different options are: Top, Center, Bottom. |
Border properties
Border properties are used to define borders for the selected icon:
All | Select border properties from the options available then select All the same to ensure that all borders (left, right, top and bottom) within the signature have the same properties. By default, no border is applied and the border size is set to zero (0). |

Left / Right / Top /Bottom | Select individual border properties (left, right, top and bottom). These options are enabled if All the same option is not selected. |
Padding properties
Padding properties are used to define spacing for the selected icon:
All | Select the padding properties you want to apply (left, right, top and bottom) across the selected icon from the options available. Select All the same to ensure that the selected icon has the same padding throughout. You can select the padding in pixels or points. By default, no padding is applied. |

Left / Right / Top /Bottom | Select individual padding settings for left, right, top and bottom. These options are enabled if All the same option is not selected. |
