You are unable to save the console and see an error similar to this:
This error is often caused when the remote deployment folder has either been removed or the console has lost access to the share due to a change in permissions.
To resolve this issue, any one of the following methods can be implemented:
- If you only have one Exchange server, it is not necessary to have a remote deployment configured. Remove the Remote Deployment location from the Exclaimer console - this should now allow you to save.
- If you have multiple servers with Exclaimer installations, then remote deployment is required.
Try creating a new shared folder and specify this in the console instead (ensure that the correct permissions have been set up according to Remote Deployment - Configuration Synchronisation and the location path is correct.)
