Scenario
You have created your email signature template and have begun testing, however, you notice that the signature appears small on your mobile device.
Example:
Reason
This issue can be caused by a number of different reasons. These are the most commonly known reasons:
-
The width of the signature template is much wider than the device's screen size (Exclaimer Cloud and On-Premise)
- Text Box in the signature template has not been set to wrap and causes the width of the signature to be larger than the device size (Exclaimer Cloud only)
Resolution
Width of the signature template
When creating your signature template, keep in mind the width of the signature itself. We recommend that your signature template should not exceed more than 600px. However, this may still be too wide for some devices and it is suggested to keep the signature at around 400-500px wide as the optimal size for mobile devices.
Text Box in the signature template has not been set to wrap
This is normally caused by a text box that does not have Text Wrapping set to Wrap, for example, your Legal Disclaimer is typically the largest amount of text within the email signature - ensure that the text has text wrapping has Wrap enabled.
To check the Text wrapping:
- Select the Text Box.
- In the Properties window, scroll to the bottom and locate the Text Wrapping option:
- Ensure this is set to Wrap:
If the resolution stated above does not correct the issue, then please contact our Signature Design Team by raising a support ticket online.
