Relevant Products: Signature Manager Outlook Edition
You are using the Signature Manager Outlook Edition, and you notice either one of the following errors in the Event Log:
These errors are displayed when the number of temp files reaches a given number. For example ~65K.
There are a number of reasons why this can happen, but generally, temp files simply tend to build up over time.
Temp files used by Signature Manager Outlook Edition adopt the naming convention of: tmpXXXX.tmp.
To resolve this error:
- Delete these files from the following locations:
Once these files have been deleted, access the Exclaimer console and make any minor change to the configuration then save the changes: the error will now not be displayed in the event log.
