Scenario
You have enabled multi-factor authentication (MFA) for your Microsoft 365 account and now you are having issues with authentication in the Outlook Signature Update Agent.
Reason
Due to the authentication methods used by the Outlook Signature Update Agent, we are unable to authenticate the account using multi-factor authentication.
Resolution
To resolve this issue:
- You will need to use an app password and authenticate the Outlook Signature Update Agent with this password when prompted.

Caution: This needs to be set up for each user.
