Scenario
You are using Server-Side signatures and, although signatures were applied to earlier messages in an email chain, they are no longer being applied.
Reason
This issue may occur if one or more previous replies in the email chain have been deleted. Exclaimer applies special coding (called ‘remialcxesans’) to emails to prevent Server-Side signature duplication by identifying where a signature already exists.
However, if an email containing a signature is deleted or if a signature is manually removed, this coding may remain in the email thread. When this happens, it can prevent new Server-Side signatures from being applied to subsequent messages.
This may not be the only reason for missing signatures. If signatures are missing and this does not apply, raise a support ticket.
Resolution
To avoid this issue, ensure that all signature content is fully removed when deleting previous replies in the email chain. We also recommend contacting the Support team for assistance.
