Scenario
You wish to update your legacy Google Workspace mail flow settings.
Resolution
NOTE: As part of decommissioning some legacy infrastructure, all affected customers should check and update the mail flow settings before 22nd November 2024.
To update your legacy Google Workspace mail flow settings (US region):
SMTP Relay
Check if US1 and 2 are trusted by the Gmail SMTP reply.
- Log into the Google Workspace Admin Console. This requires an Administrative account.
- From the menu pane, expand Apps, Google Workspace, select Gmail, then select Routing.
- Within Routing, select the Exclaimer receive rule.
- Make sure US1 (52.226.94.192/28) and US2 (13.64.55.16/28) are present.
- Remove US3 (23.100.16.236) and US4 (23.100.38.75).

Hosts
Check if all mail is routing to the Google Workspace end point.
- Log into the Google Workspace Admin Console. This requires an Administrative account.
- From the menu pane, expand Apps, Google Workspace, select Gmail then select Hosts.
- Within the Exclaimer Cloud host, select Edit.
- Set the host name to smtp.gsus.exclaimer.net
- Do not edit any other settings, they should remain the same as before.
