How to update the Outlook Add-In for mobile device support

Scenario

You installed the Exclaimer Cloud Outlook Add-In prior to August 16th 2023, and would like to update the app to support Outlook for Android and iOS.

Resolution

Updating the Outlook Add-In for mobile device support requires a user with admin permissions.

To update the Outlook Add-In as an admin:

1. Log in to the Microsoft 365 admin center using your admin credentials.
   
   
2. Select Show all in the menu pane.
   
   
3. Expand Settings, then select Integrated apps. The Outlook Add-In is displayed as Exclaimer Cloud for Outlook. If an update is available, the app Status will be listed as Updates pending.
   
   
   
4. Select Exclaimer Cloud for Outlook to bring up the app flyout.
   
   
5. Select Know more and update from the alert strip. This opens the Update screen, which contains app information.
   
   
   
6. Read the available app information, then select Accept and update to proceed. This will apply the update to the Outlook Add-In.
