Scenario
You are using Exclaimer Cloud and have created your email signature. When you view an email in Apple Mail, you notice that the images are not displayed or are re-sized when the mail client window size changes.
Reason
This issue is caused by Apple Mail itself; however, this can be fixed within Exclaimer Cloud. It is caused due to the default 'Auto' sizing set on the images. The mail client uses the Auto setting to re-size the images based on the screen /window size.
The Auto functionality behaves correctly in all other mail clients.
Resolution
NOTE: The steps described here assume that you have already created an email signature. For more information, see how you can create an email signature.
To resolve the issue:
- Set fixed width and height to the image itself to prevent other issues.
Ideally, this should be the same width and height as the original image size.
For example, if the image is 100 x 100 px, set the exact dimensions to the image in Exclaimer Cloud.
